How to improve metabolism by drinking water

There are thousands of myths about drinking water and its one of the important causes why beauty and health problems are arising due to metabolic disorders by wrong ways of drinking water. Every food in this world has harmful effects on body if consumed in wrong way or at wrong time. So is the case with water also. It took us 6 years collecting these tips after working with various health experts, doctors, cancer experts etc. Drinking water in the manner described below also helps cut extra fat without much physical exercise and hard work. Its one of the efficient ways to make metabolism work the best depending on your body requirements:

1. The first thing to do is to stop drinking chilled or cold water. This is what Victoria's Secret supermodels follow. Cold water hinders the functioning of enzymes and lowers the body temperature necessary for breaking the food by enzymes. If food will not digest, it will stay inside stomach and stick to it. Warm water prevents food from sticking to stomach walls and also act as an important medium to make the flow easy. It provides the optimum temperature for active working of enzymes for digesting food. If one takes cold water for longer period, one is liable to fall pray of metabolic disorders and weight will increase than normal. Such a condition is responsible for aging of skin, occurring of diabetes, acidity, increased cholesterol levels, constipation etc. The solution is to always drink warm water in winters, in the temperature range of 15-20 degrees Celsius, which is a comfortable range for dissolving extra fat. An easy way to check the warm water is by simply touching it. If you feel it warm by touching, its right for drinking. In summers, one can prefer water up to 12 degrees celsius which is close to the temperature of normal water but below this temperature, water starts disturbing the metabolic processes 

2. Never drink simple water empty stomach. You might have been taught just opposite of it. If you are drinking loads of water empty stomach in the morning, then its important for you to know that almost 78% people suffering from joint problems report a habit of drinking water early morning. More than 60% patients suffering from arthritis report the same habit. Researchers have found that drinking water empty stomach is an important cause of  disturbed metabolic disorders, joint problems and heart failures. The excess pressure that is exerted by the water on nerves can lead to bursting of minute nerves. Again if the same water is not passed out of body, it stays inside stomach and leads to gastric and metabolic disorders. If one want to drink water empty stomach add honey and lemon juice to warm water and drink it slowly by taking small sips like a tea. This cleans the channels and remove impurities from body. A better option is to take a tomato soup prepared from ripe tomatoes to correct any disturbance in metabolism.  A glass of warm cow's milk is also a better alternative to remove toxins out of the body.

3. Never drink water in a standing position. Always drink in sitting position. Drinking water while standing results in acidity, obesity, hypertension, arthritis etc. Drinking water in standing position also puts an excess pressure on nerves and results are disturbed thyroidal functioning and digestion. Drinking water in a sitting position makes it flow smoothly through nerves without pressuring or disturbing the natural processes.

4. Always drink water with meal. Finish at least one and a half glass of warm water with your meal by taking small sips. Take time in finishing your meal by chewing the food well and drinking small sips of water after every 2 or 3 bites. This has added benefits which can be understood by an example. Consider a horizontal pipe in which you are adding pebbles but not adding any water. A time will come when the pebbles in the pipe will start collecting at some location and the pipe will be blocked because there is no medium to move the pebbles. But if we start the same process of adding pebbles by eroding with water from time to time, no blockage will occur inside pipe because pebbles will smoothly flow with water. Inside our body, the channels carrying small bites of chewed food serve as pipes, the chewed bites of food as pebbles and  drinking water after every 2 or 3 bites serves the same purpose of eroding food as in case of pipe thereby preventing any blockage in food channels. When one drinks water by taking small sips with meal, it will take about 20 minutes or more to finish  meal. So do not hurry in finishing your meal.

5. Never try to finish a glass of water fast. Take many small sips of water to drink a glass of water. This will make water easily soluble inside body and avoid chances of indigestion and acidity. Finishing a glass full of water in a single sip causes acidity but drinking it slowly by taking small sips like a morning tea makes digestion of food and water easy. 

6. Drink at least 3.5 liters of water a day. The intake of water should be at least 3.5 liters in normal human and can be increased to 4.5 to 6 liters a day. The more water you drink, the more glowing and beautiful skin you are going to have. Drinking lesser water leads to dry skin problems and indigestion and slow metabolism.. 

7. This step is not compulsory but has added benefits. If possible, add something to water like honey or a tea spoon of lemon juice and a pinch of black salt and black pepper. Adding juices of garlic, ginger and onion dissolves fat fast and improves metabolism. All these have added benefits in making skin more glowing and removing toxins from the body.

8. Take caution in drinking water immediately after eating fruits. Water can be added to most of the fruit juices for improving the medicinal value of juices but drinking water after consuming raw fruits can sometimes be harmful. Drinking water immediately after eating fruits like banana, guava, etc can cause metabolic disorders and thyroidal disturbance. So, its better to take a break for half an hour to 45 minutes after eating raw fruits.
