Things to avoid for boosting metabolism

A slim and toned body shape is the demand of modern fashion. Its an essential requirement to stay young and beautiful for longer period. The perfect beauty intrigues people around her. Its an important symptom that highlights personality and cannot be attained without a right metabolic rate. To accelerate metabolism, control the consumption of few things:

Things to avoid for boosting metabolism

1. Sugar: White sugar is white poison. Few grams of sugar puts a break to metabolism for few hours. Its a super source to invite disease and distort the body structure. The best  substitute  to sugar is honey which improves metabolism and makes you look more healthy and beautiful. Other substitutes include jaggery and rock sugar.

2. Meat: It takes loads of energy and time to digest meat. Whether its resting metabolic rate or some other metabolism, meat makes the metabolism process quite slow because it is not easy to break and digest animal proteins. The undigested part appears on belly fat or hips. Increase in cholesterol levels, blocking of nerves, obesity, fatigue, heart attacks etc are some of the results of slow metabolism which result from consumption of animal proteins.

3. Cold drinks: This includes diet coke also. Do not fall pray of the words and the tricks used by cold drink companies. The word 'diet' does not really mean that its going to keep you healthy. Two diet cokes or cold drinks per day are sufficient to reduce metabolism and increase the unnecessary belly fat. Cold drinks contain sugar that add extra bulk to tummy and reduce metabolic activity.

4. Wheat flour product: Almost all the baked products including biscuits, breads, cakes etc are made from white flour. Wheat flour is one of the hardest vegetarian things to digest. When mixed with water, it gets sticky and the bonds do not break easily inside stomach. It easily sticks inside stomach  and takes lot of work and time to  digest.

5. Alcohol/Beer: Both alcohol and Beer contains sugars that get deposited in different parts of body in the form of fat. This deposited fat has severe effects on lever which later result in malfunctioning of  metabolism. Initially, this appears as belly fat and its generally not easy to burn.

6. Chilled water: Chilled water reduces stomach heat. Enzymes that digest food inside stomach work efficiently between 15-20 degrees of temperature range in a normal person and chilled water reduces this operating range which takes hours of time to digest even simple foods. An important way to improve metabolism is taking warm water instead of cold water. This accelerates metabolism and keeps body more slim and toned.

7. Coffee: 2-3 cups of coffee per day is sufficient to cause anemia and sleep disorders. The stimulation of hormones by coffee is a forced stimulation and not a natural process that weakens the memory and metabolic activity inside human body.

8. Butter: Not all butters are bad for health, only butters containing saturated fats are difficult to digest. Butters made from milk obtained from cow and goat contain unsaturated fatty acids and avoid the risk of high cholesterol levels, whereas butter made from milk of other animals like buffalo contain saturated acids and are not easily digestible.

9. Polished cereals: Polished cereals are free of fibers which a available in unpolished cereals. This makes it more difficult to digest polished cereals than unpolished ones. The undigested cereals disturb the metabolic rate by not getting digested easily It generally results in constipation and fissures inside  excretory system. A better method is to use unpolished cereals instead of polished ones.

10. Junk food: Junk food is too heavy and difficult to digest. It contains saturated fatty acids that are more difficult to break and absorb. Its sometimes excessively fried too which makes it one of the worse foods to digest. It sticks inside stomach and takes lot of time for absorption and assimilation.
