Garnier pure active neem face wash reviews

Today there's another face wash for review. This time its from garnier. I bought it when I was returning home one day from office. I had never tried any face care product from Garnier. So, this was a start with little investment. Lets move towards reviews

Ingredients and how does it work?:

Product Claims: Every fay your skin braves pollution, germs and excess oil. The result could be pimples and impurities.
Purify your skin with Garnier PureActive Neem Purifying face wash enriched with real Neem Leaf Extract and Tea Tree Oil, Skin feels clean, fresh and looks cleaner.

Usage: Gently massage on damp face usiing your fingertips carefully avoiding the eye contour area. Rinse thoroughly. For best results, use twice a day. Not to be used by children under 3 years of age.


Price: INR 45 for 50 g

Product description: It comes in white mini tube with green colored print over it. The product has a transparent green color with a citric soapy fragrance. The fragtance is appealing bit natural. The mini bottle is definitely travel friendly easy to fit inside a pouch or even inside a pocket.

My reviews on Garnier pure active neem face wash :
Take a little product on wet palm and massage gently on wet face. Foam action will start. Rinse face off after few seconds or a minute. Once used and having face washed, skin looks free from oily greasy texture. It cleanses face removing dirt and sweat collected on face. I can still feel oil on certain areas close to nose and forehead.

One needs to use it at least twice a day in humidifying summer. It produces soapy foam on face and still leaves oil on certain areas of face. Its hard to judge the action of this product as I do no get a clear texture on face. i mean its not uniform. On certain areas, skin feels dry and on some areas its oily. But one thing for sure on cold windy days I get a dry texture. No skin whitening or glowing effect after using it. Yep, I did not notice any pimples or spots to be developing during the time period I used. Also few pimples on skin reduced in size but it did not produce any significant change on old stubborn spots and pimples.  People having dry skin can use it during summers but during winters it might over dry the skin. Its action is similar to ordinary tea tree or neem face washes available in market. It cleanses face but does not deep cleanse. Fragrance is appealing, smells natural . Skin looks little dark in color after use and also action is slow on face

Cons of Garnier pure active neem face wash :
1. Not suitable on dry skin. Can over dry face during winters.
2. Non uniform texture on skin
3. Does not deep cleanse as claimed
4. Slow effects on skin

Would I buy it again?
My view is neutral about this product. I think its results will be different for different skin types Some people may be satisfied with results whereas others like me may not be. There are number of face products available in market under this price range. So, I would  like to try those new products.
