Pollution has increased to significant levels in metropolitan cities and hair problems like dandruff, dryness etc are common under such conditions. My hair fell prey of one of such common problems i.e dandruff. So, I visited the nearby store to buy a shampoo for treating my hair. Here are the reviews about the product I bought:

My reviews on Himalaya herbals Anti-Dandruff Shampoo:
The first thing I liked about this shampoo is its a herbal product and contains various natural ingredients for hair nourishment. The cap is easy to open, its neither too tight nor too loose. Take out a little product on palm and massage on wet hair. The consistency is thin like liquid gel and has a satin finish.
The fragrance of product is perfuming and refreshing. It should have been bit natural but I do not have complaints regarding fragrance. The foaming action is sufficient and it rinses off easily without leaving any trace behind. Well, my hair are thick and long and require lot of shampoo and so a single bottle does not last long. After washing hair twice or thrice, I noticed a significant reduction in dandruff within a week. The dandruff reduced to around 70% in few washes. Hair shafts feel nourished and stronger. After trying it, I feel my hair to be light weight and manageable. The fragrance is nice and lasts around half an hour. The product of the shampoo feels moisturizing on touching but when I washed hair around 6 to 7 times, it increased the little dryness of hair. So, my hair do not feel and appear soft and silky as earlier. It does not dry scalp but turn hair little dry. Another issue notice with it is the fading of treated hair color. Every time I wash hair with it I see my hair color to be little dull than before. During washing also, I see the color of water to be changed to little brown which is same as that of the hair color. So, let's sum up the pros and cons of it:

Do I recommend buying it?
If one does not use hair colors for treating hair, then go and buy it. It will definitely reduce dandruff to some extent. But if you are like me whose dependence on hair colors is more, it might not be the right product for your hair. Instead, go for color protect shampoos and conditioners that make hair color last more long.
