Revlon Colorsilk hair color- brown black reviews

I have tried this hair colour number of times so i decided sharing my reviews on it. I have tried almost all the shades from brown to black from  Revlon silk.

The hair color comes in the form of a small kit which contains an instruction booklet , a hair conditioner and two bottles, one a white colored creme color developer and other a  brown black  ammonia-free colorant. The various details, cautionary measures and safety instructions are printed on this packaging in three different languages on the packaging viz, English, spanish and french.With so much of details printed on packaging, it becomes difficult to find the one printed in english.
The details and precautionary measures to be taken are  printed on these bottles and the instruction booklet. The booklet explains the application steps for this hair color and two polythene gloves have also been provided attached with this booklet.

Product reviews: Here 's my take on this hair color:

Before applying this hair color, its important to conduct an allergy test so that it does not cause any reaction to your skin. The details about the allergy test are written on instruction booklet provided with this kit. After application, I have to let it dry for 45 minutes 1 hour. Its thick and stick well to dry hair. But its not like other hair colors which get liquid(y) on mixing and application. I apply it to the grey areas of  hair. It sticks my hair well and does not irritate me much. Keep a cloth to cover your shoulders so that it does not spoil your dress on dripping. It dries up cleanly without much spreading and after application, it does not  flow out of your hair like other cheap hair colors and dies. It stays well on hair after application. After drying, wash hair and rinsed it well with water. While washing, keep your eyes protected so that it does not go into your eyes. If it goes, wash your eyes well. After that, apply after-color hair conditioner (white in color) already provided with this color. The conditioner does not have a natural fragrance still it smells good. After drying, hair looks more shiny and silky. On touching the hair or taking it between hands, hair slip just like the silk cloth slips out of  hand. The feel is luxurious and soft. It covers all the gray hair and provides a rich and shining black brown color to hair. My hair look more beautiful and silky and I like touching my hair after application. Girls having long and straight hair will find it more useful as it makes hair sleek. I did not feel any irritation on application but people with sensitive skin may get allergy. A single last for approximately 24 days after which your gray hair may be visible. So, you need to apply it again.

• Messy hair become straight and  do not mess much

Cons:

• Contains allergic and irrational ingredients which may not suit people having sensitive skin. 
• The quantity of conditioner is less for the hair color
• Fragrance smells good but smells like  artificial. It should have been bit natural.
• Loaded with chemicals  

My rating to Revlon colorsilk hair color?

7.5 out of 10. Because its does not contain natural ingredients but contains lot of chemicals, especially sulfates, which are harmful too human skin. But still its results are satisfactory in terms of  color it imparts to gray hair.
