I haven't tried a charcoal cleanser. So, its first time I am giving a product like this a try. I am curious to know its results after application because I have a fair skin whereas the color of the product is dark gray. Also my skin responds fast to products containing harmful ingredients. A new product with new experiences creates curiosity in mind. Lets see how a black charcoal formulated cleanser works on white skin:

Ingredients, Product Claims and usage directions:
First thing which bothered me before trying it on my fair skin is the color of the product which is gray. I was worried that it would darken the skin color. So, I took a little product on wet palm and rubbed between fingers to check if it leaves a gray or black residue.
It contains very small particles which one can be felt during rubbing. After few seconds of rubbing, the grayish color disappeared leaving little whitish tint on my hands. This way I was assured of the product color. Take a little product on palm and massage on wet face. It produces sufficient lather. But I did not find it rich and creamy. Rinse face and pat dry. After washing, face does not feel dry which usually happens with strong cleansing products. In fact, skin feel soft and moisturized. Yuppy! the skin does not darken after applying it. In fact it looks cleansed and clear without the loss of essential moisture. I have tried it before leaving in morning, after returning home from office in evening and sometimes even before sleeping at night. After all these trials, I can say that its action is gentle and keeps face clear and smooth. Its good for casual use. No drying on skin trying it. I can see a little glow on cheeks after application. I don't have much complaints to Avon after trying it except one and that is the SPF is not mentioned on the tube anywhere. After the evening wash, one can again go out with fresh and smooth skin free of dirt and oily texture. No doubt the action is gentle as claimed but the the lather is not so rich. Cleansing action is superb. Yes, it removes make up to some extent. However, Products and cream containing heavy oils and similar ingredients like night creams and foundations can be difficult to remove. Overall, the face wash has a gentle and smooth cleansing action on skin. It does not much harm to both oil y and dry areas of skin

Product description: It comes in a white colored tube with transparent flip open cap. The mouth of the tube is covered with silver paper. To take product out., make hole in silver paper or remove it and press tube to make little product come out. The product is gray colored with a blend of fragrances of cosmetic creams and fresh leaves. Smells good.
